#Listening to minimalist electronica from Lapis Majuscules and Friends, an album released last year by @ambientspace from the mighty Hutt Valley;

This album is spacious like good dub, but the beats are frenetic, if minimal. Some of the tracks have a compulsiveness to them, making me want to fidget, in a fun way. I see this as continuing a kiwi tradition of minimal beat-weaving, like Jet Jaguar, or Waterlands era epsilon-blue.
