What we have been witnessing in these times lately is an #escalation from #oppression to #hegemony. Once an oppression evolves and further degenerates into hegemony; principled dissent, liberation, and solidarity become all the more difficult because the oppressed has become an #accomplice of the oppressor, part-time or full-time, often the latter, stopping critical questioning and systems thinking entirely and forgetting #historical #provenance of the contemporary hegemonies.+
