About post categories

So far I've signed up and created my first post, and at first it wasn't immediately obvious how to assign a category to my post. I did find it under settings after clicking on the edit button, but maybe the categories drop menu could be moved to the main compose page? It would also be nice to see a category for books.
Other than that, I do like this platform a lot and I can see myself using it more as it grows.

Added "Books" as a new category, and made the category picker much more discoverable — there's now an inline dropdown right below the title in the editor, so you don't have to open the settings panel to categorize your entry. The settings panel category picker is still there too.
