I already followed myself, and it said requested but when I went to go look from the mastodon side the follow had gone thru, and when I look up my name again it shows the follow button even though I am already following this account

oh also noticed that my avatar is blank on the mastodon side, and is showing as a w here. but I set one of the default avatars with a squiggly face

For the avatar, I’m testing on my account and it’s working okay. Did you set it through the onboarding flow or through settings?

Okay that’s what I was thinking. You should be able to set and save in settings. I’ll investigate the onboarding issue.

@wakest There sure isn’t! I don’t think I’ve had enough nested conversations yet. I just made a change for the first issue. Do you mind checking to see if the follow behavior is closer to what you’d expect now?
