I am trying the pause method, but I think the only reason it's been working is because I'm in a slump and just less inclined to talk in general. Oversharing is a big problem for me, and I have the issues these commenters talk about. I really wish I knew how to control it all the time, but sometimes it's such a strong impulse, my inner voice is saying "Shut up!" but my mouth just runs away.
