Copies of two lost episodes of "Doctor Who" have been found in a collector's "ramshackle" collection of vintage films, and will be shown on BBC iPlayer in April. The episodes, both from series 3 of the iconic sci-fi series, feature William Hartnell as the Doctor and Peter Purves as his assistant. Purves was brought to Leicester with the fib that he was to be interviewed about TV in the 1960s, only to be shown "The Nightmare Begins" and "Devil's Planet." After viewing them, Purves told @BBCNews: "My flabber has never been so gasted."

Davros, creator of the Daleks, first appeared 51 years ago OTD in Part 1 of the classic 1975 story: Genesis of the Daleks. Davros would go on to become one of the greatest adversaries the Doctor has ever known. #DoctorWho
