Brands are testing longer streaming ad formats on platforms like Apple TV, moving beyond traditional 30-second breaks to multi-episode storytelling campaigns. Ford recently ran such a campaign centered on its Formula One return, presenting a micro-docuseries as sequential ads during race weekend. https://www.marketingtechnews.net/news/ford-campaign-shows-brands-testing-longer-streaming-ads/ #Marketing #Strategy #Ford
Did you know Billy Bishop Airport (the one on Toronto Island) is the principle base for the region's air ambulances? It's the best place because of it's being near several major hospitals.
The Ford government (Ontario) wants to take over the airport, expand it and allow small jets to fly in. This would increase air traffic quite a bit, present a greater risk to downtown structure of something goes wrong with more powerful planes, adds to noise in the downtown area, increase traffic on roads that are already constantly jammed, and... all sorts of other issues.
All 3 levels of government need to approve this: The City (which loses power with Ford taking it over), the province and the Federal government, as well as Toronto Port Authority.
If you think this is all a bad idea, do write to your representatives in all 4 groups.
Ford is accelerating its global campaign as it returns to Formula 1: the automaker will utilize Apple TV's sequential ad capabilities to turn ad breaks into a narrative micro-docuseries focused on its engineering prowess. https://www.marketingdive.com/news/how-ford-is-accelerating-its-global-campaign-as-it-returns-to-formula-1/813790/ #Marketing #Strategy #Ford
