…and I never knew what to write in my first entry then whenever I set up my LiveJournal or GreyMatter, or joined a new message board, for that matter.

Nothing particularly springs to mind right now, but I want to start using this as somewhere to vent and document whether I can succeed at making changes this year. I’ve just turned 42 and am determined to make my life better. I’ve been getting more and more unfit over the last couple of years and am going to change that. I’ve been resisting making improvements to our house because I hate it. I’ve been allowing my wife’s ADHD to be in the driving seat of too many decisions. These things - and more - are all making my day-to-day existence less than it should be, so I want to see if my fourtysecond year can be the one where I make things better for me and those around me.

All I need is for this stomach bug to go away so I can actually do more than lie on the sofa. Good start, really!
