Joint Base Andrews (Maryland), 12 mar. (askanews) - Il presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump ha minacciato l'Iran di rendere la sua ricostruzione "quasi impossibile". Trump ha parlato da Joint Base Andrews. "Sono abbastanza al capolinea - ha detto riferendosi agli iraniani - non significa che smetteremo subito, ma non hanno marina, non hanno aeroporti, non hanno antiaerea, sistemi di controllo, stiamo colpendo il paese senza freni". Trump ha aggiunto che "adesso ci occuperemo molto seriamente dello stretto (di Hormuz, ndr)".
Poi, la minaccia: "Possiamo colpire zone di Teheran e altri posti, che se lo facciamo, sarà praticamente impossibile per loro ricostruire il paese. E non vogliamo farlo, ma possiamo eliminare le loro capacità di generare energia elettrica in un'ora e ci metteranno 25 anni a ricostruirla. Quindi, idealmente, non lo faremo".

Joint Base Andrews (Maryland), March 12 (askanews) – U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened Iran with making its reconstruction “practically impossible.” Trump spoke from Joint Base Andrews. “We’re pretty much out of steam – referring to the Iranians – it doesn’t mean we’ll stop immediately, but they don’t have a navy, they don’t have airports, they don’t have air defense, they don’t have command and control systems, we’re hitting the country without brakes.” Trump added that “we will now take the Strait of Hormuz very seriously.”
Then, the threat: “We can strike zones in Tehran and other places, and if we do, it will be practically impossible for them to rebuild the country. And we don’t want to do that, but we can eliminate their ability to generate electricity in an hour and it will take them 25 years to rebuild it. So, ideally, we won’t.”
