Yesterday morning I was barefoot on the deck doing exercises. 73°. Gentle southerly breeze. Same time today - 30°. Not barefoot. Not me. When the wind direction changed 180 degrees yesterday there was a sudden change in everything. Temp dropped 15° within an hour. New blossoms fell to the ground. Sky got dark. Feels like life these days. #weather #politics

Well, we've got some #weather today, starting with winds gusting up to 50 miles an hour. Current sustained winds at the airport 3 miles from my house are 32 mph. There's also a chance of snow and rain all this week. We had some snow yesterday But it quickly turned to rain. If it snowed now, I suspect it would hit the ground in in another state with the wind this bad. My windows are rattling and every once in a while my house gives a little shudder. #WX (1/2)

I woke to heavy mist and light rain.
Dog woke, raced to the door, nudged it open with his nose, then turned and raced back to bed.
Says it all, really.
We were heading off to a market this morning, but we may still go, just a bit later, for, many moons ago, I used to "stall out", and I well remember how thrilled I was to see a person starting to materialise out of the gloom, and head towards me, even if they only browsed and did not buy....
