For the last three or so years I have been co-hosting EBU in Action, a quarterly podcast of the European Blind Union where we discuss various topic of importance to the community of blind and partially sighted people in Europe. Episode 14 is out as of two days and since there are many blind gamers on Mastodon, I thought I might do a special shoutout about it. It was my honour to have @svenja also known as SvenjaDev on Twitch and Philip Benefall, the person behind things such as Q9, Tarzan Junior and of course the Blastbay Game Toolkit (BGT) framework that many popular audiogames are based on, as guests for this one. We touched upon a lot of topics from the history of gaming for the blind, modding vs. native accessibility, e-sports gaming, streaming right up to AI so go ahead and check it out. ebuinaction.podbean.com/e/pres

So I just ran for 30 mins :).
It wasn't planned.
I was with my mom in the car half of the day because I decided to go with her to where she was going and we were talking the whole time.
BTW I got a double jack cheeseburger or something like that and it was very good...
It had a lot of meat. It didn't seem particularly trashy or low quality so that was nice. Was kinda happy with it.
When I got back I got in the mood to run and take a shower and realized there wasn't much stopping me so I actually did.
I have been feeling like recently my body has been wanting me to run because I have been getting hot and starting to sweat through like all my glands as if im running at different points.
It was a good run. I ran very intensely and sweat a lot in a short amount of time... My mind and thought processes were productive to running. Not overly manic or depressive. When my minds like that I could probably run for an hour. Around the time I stopped I needed to go to the bathroom...
Before I ran I opened up the windows and I think that will improve my health...

was abusing women and protesters.

People don't even NOTICE and observe that all the mental health workers and artists of the world do not organize a intelligent response to organized abuse.

Weapon systems do not fix - they make it worse.

Osamos.

Stupid question: I use as my password manager of choice. I use it on my PC (I just love its Windowsforms design with a tree, also Dominik, the developer, cares about ); and I use on the iPhone, also fully accessible.
I wish to have KeePass but for my family needs.
Ideas, anyone?

"If a teen is interested in losing weight, chances are they may turn to artificial intelligence platforms to get advice.

But that could cause trouble.

The AI advice they get may be to keep their calories and nutrients drastically below their daily needs, according to a new study published Thursday in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition."

My GitHub sponsors are now live!

This means if you want Mudpie pro, or pro versions of any future apps I release, you can sponsor to get them.

This also supports me and my writing; times are much harder now I am not working full-time. I'd love to keep writing and developing add-free and useful applications, and writing articles that are informative and enjoyable, but unfortunately I can't do that without funding.

If you like what I do and want to support my work, any amount is appreciated.

I’m loving how this text editor is turning out. I was never satisfied with modern text editors so I teamed up with a person to fork one and improve on it by adding basically what I want out of a text editor for fiction writers. Screen reader focus has been improved upon launch. There is now a tool to convert LibreOffice autocorrect files to the autocorrect file that works with this program! Now we are working on exporting to Shun Manuscript Format and auto capitalization because I am lazy and do not always hit the shift key. github.com/stefano-pogliani/AME

Potentially good news for people with osteoporosis. Scientists from the University of Leipzig in Germany and Shandong University in China identified the cell receptor GPR133 (also known as ADGRD1) as being crucial to bone density. @ScienceAlert shares what they discovered after running some tests on mice:

"spiermassa kwijtraken […]

When your eyes, ears, and brain don’t agree, that will leave you susceptible to motion sickness. But just because the 15-foot swells you’re experiencing out on the ocean make you seasick, doesn’t mean others will experience the same thing. So what makes the difference? @popsci dives into it, including how you can offset the effects:
