In the short film footage, a group of hikers managed to document the exact moment a giant ice block broke off from the wall of the San Rafael glacier. The images were filmed in the Laguna San Rafael National Park, in the Chilean region of Aysén, one of the most visited areas of Patagonia. The San Rafael is known for being one of the glaciers with the fastest retreat rate in Chile due to climate change.
