Il Tempo: Al Galatasaray il primo round con il Liverpool, decide un gol di Lemina
ISTANBUL (TURCHIA) (ITALPRESS) – Il Galatasaray batte ancora il Liverpool a Istanbul. La gara di andata degli ottavi di finale di Champions League finisce nello stesso modo del match di settembre nella fase campionato: 1-0 e Victor Osimhen di nuovo protagonista. Non con un gol come nell'ultimo precedente, ma con l'assist per l'ex juventino Lemina che decide il match al 7′ con un colpo di testa in tuffo sulla sponda del nigeriano dopo un calcio d'angolo battuto da Sara. L'ex Napoli sfiora anche il 2-0 al 12′ con un colpo di testa su cross di Jakobs e si vede annullare una rete al 64′ per un fuorigioco precedente di Yilmaz. Il Liverpool fatica ad accendersi con i singoli. L'unica notizia stonata della serata dei giallorossi è il cartellino giallo rimediato nel finale dal diffidato Davinson Sanchez, che salterà la sfida di ritorno in programma mercoledì 18 marzo ad Anfield Road. The former Napoli player also nearly scored 2-0 at 12′ with a header on Jakob’s cross and sees a goal disallowed at 64′ for an offside by Yilmaz. Liverpool struggles to get going with the individuals. Sixty minutes long is the match of Mohamed Salah on the day of the record of appearances with the Reds shirt in the Champions League (81, surpassed Jamie Carragher).
