My wife has been talking about how her mother and aunts all came to England as children to work in London just after the war.
They all came illegally from Ireland using the same eldest sister's passport which had been posted back to Cork for them to use in turn.
It must have been a hell of a journey for 14, 15 & 16 year old girls who had never ventured far from Cork to come to England.
Different money, different ways of living, theoretically the same language.
They all worked in hospital catering jobs to send money home for their parents. They all lied about their ages to get the work.
Eventually they all married and settled down in the South East of England.
Illegal immigrants. Not brown.
The #MangoMussolini's #polling numbers are so bad -- not even the chest-thumping would-be holy war he has initiated can pull him up. He is losing EVERY demographic in #America and on every issue.
