Figured that in the middle of a not-a-war war the Secy.of War would refuse photographers access because a picture they published of him wasn't flattering. And I can't even blame it on his being a Repub. because the WWII Secy. Of War, Henry Stimson, was a republican appointed by FDR and I don't recall his focus being on his own looks rather than on the safety of our troops.
