In Sicilia diminuisce il numero dei minori segnalati per alcuni reati come rapina e associazione per delinquere, ma cresce la preoccupazione per il coinvolgimento dei giovani nelle organizzazioni mafiose. È quanto emerge dal rapporto “(Dis)armati” di Save the Children, realizzato con il sostegno della Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group Ets e diffuso oggi, che analizza i dati relativi al primo semestre del 2025.
A livello nazionale, nei primi sei mesi dell’anno i minorenni denunciati o arrestati per associazione di tipo mafioso sono stati 46, un dato che potrebbe indicare un aumento rispetto al 2024, quando nell’intero anno i casi registrati erano stati 49. Di questi, quasi la metà si concentra tra Catania (15) e Napoli (6).

Nationally, in the first six months of the year, 46 minors were denounced or arrested for mafia-type association, a figure that could indicate an increase compared to 2024, when the number of cases recorded throughout the year was 49. Of these, almost half are concentrated in Catania (15) and Naples (6).
