Nella prima tappa della nuova stagione di “Pechino Express“, ieri in esclusiva su Sky e in streaming solo su Now e sempre disponibile on demand, I Raccomandati Chanel Totti e Filippo Laurino hanno messo alla prova gli indonesiani. Per la coppia locale che li ha accolti a bordo, Italia significa “Roma, Juventus…”, e alla domanda di Chanel su cosa conoscessero di Roma nello specifico la risposta è solo una: “Totti!”. Laurino decide di “usare la carta dei raccomandati” e la coppia indonesiana impazzisce di gioia.
Al termine della prima puntata Costantino ha annunciato la prima classifica: vittoria per I Raccomandati, al secondo posto i Rapper e medaglia di bronzo ai Veloci. In fondo al gruppo e a rischio eliminazione, invece, Ex e Creator.
La scelta di Chanel e Filippo su chi eliminare è ricaduta su Steven e Viviana, che però sono andati incontro a uno scenario inedito per Pechino Express. Il verdetto della busta nera recitava “duello”, dunque i due si giocheranno la salvezza con la coppia che si ritroverà a rischio eliminazione nella seconda tappa.

Il rapporto “(Dis)armati” di Save the Children analizza il primo semestre 2025: nell’Isola l’incidenza dei minori coinvolti in associazioni mafiose è la più alta d’Italia.
In Sicilia diminuisce il numero dei minori segnalati per alcuni reati come rapina e associazione per delinquere, ma cresce la preoccupazione per il coinvolgimento dei giovani nelle organizzazioni mafiose. È quanto emerge dal rapporto “(Dis)armati” di Save the Children, realizzato con il sostegno della Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group Ets e diffuso oggi, che analizza i dati relativi al primo semestre del 2025.
A livello nazionale, nei primi sei mesi dell’anno i minorenni denunciati o arrestati per associazione di tipo mafioso sono stati 46, un dato che potrebbe indicare un aumento rispetto al 2024, quando nell’intero anno i casi registrati erano stati 49. Di questi, quasi la metà si concentra tra Catania (15) e Napoli (6).

Certo che la guerra, qualunque guerra, ci preoccupa e ci spaventa. Solo degli irresponsabili potrebbero abbandonarsi a una specie di assurda esaltazione bellicista. Ciò detto, quando le cose succedono (incluse quelle spiacevoli), esiste il preciso dovere politico e morale di comprendere cosa accadrebbe se i nemici della libertà dovessero trovarsi in condizione di rivendicare una qualsiasi forma di successo. Applichiamo questo criterio all'orrendo regime iraniano. In tredici giorni è stato quasi completamente schiantato dall'azione di AmericaeIsraele: la sua leadership decapitata, la sua capacità offensiva depotenziata, la sua possibilità di trovare solidarietà internazionale azzerata, il nuovo leader una specie di ologramma. Gli resta solo un'opzione disperata e distruttiva: quella legata ad attacchi contro le navi nello Stretto di Hormuz, e, in prospettiva, ma solo se il conflitto sciaguratamente durasse più a lungo del previsto, l'innesco di una crisi energetica (che al momento non c'è, e che siamo in tempo per scongiurare). Eppure, con l'eccezione di questo giornale e di non più di un paio di altre testate, in Italia il racconto è ossessivamente unidirezionale: contro Trump, contro Israele, e quasi indulgente verso un regime assassino e terrorista, a cui si attribuisce una forza che non ha più.
“Strappare la vittoria dalle fauci della sconfitta”, si dice in inglese per intendere un successo acciuffato in extremis e contro ogni ragionevole previsione. Ecco, al contrario molti media occidentali arrivano al paradosso, nel loro antitrumpismo compulsivo, di voler “strappare una sconfitta dalle fauci della vittoria”. Ragionano così: la vittoria è a portata di mano, ma occorre evitare di coglierla. E sperano che Trump, per ragioni varie (mediatiche o elettorali), sia indotto a fermarsi, regalando un successo morale a Teheran. Immaginatevi le risate a Pechino, a quel punto: nel vedere per l'ennesima volta un Occidente debole e confuso. Ed è proprio lì che ci porterebbe la comitiva Conte-Schlein-Bonelli-Fratoianni. Tra Pechino e Teheran. Pensiamoci bene.

Of course, any war worries and frightens us. Only the most irresponsible people could indulge in a kind of absurd, bellicistic glorification. That said, when things happen (including unpleasant ones), there is the precise political and moral duty to understand what would happen if the enemies of freedom were in a position to claim any form of success. Let us apply this criterion to the horrific Iranian regime. In thirteen days it has been almost completely shattered by the action of America and Israel: its leadership decapitated, its offensive capability weakened, its possibility of finding international solidarity zeroed out, the new leader a kind of hologram. It only has one desperate and destructive option: that linked to attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, and, in perspective, but only if the conflict unfortunately lasted longer than expected, the triggering of an energy crisis (which doesn't currently exist, and which we have time to prevent). Nevertheless, with the exception of this newspaper and no more than a couple of other publications, in Italy the narrative is obsessively one-directional: against Trump, against Israel, and almost indulgent towards an assassin and terrorist regime, to which one attributes a strength it no longer has.
“To snatch victory from the jaws of defeat,” as the English say to describe a success snatched at the last moment and against all reasonable predictions. Here, conversely, many Western media arrive at a paradox, in their compulsive anti-Trumpism, of wanting to “snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory”. They reason this way: victory is within reach, but it is necessary to avoid seizing it. And they hope that Trump, for various reasons (media or electoral), will be induced to stop, granting a moral success to Tehran. Imagine the laughter in Beijing, at that point: to see for the nth time a weak and confused West. And it is precisely there that the Conte-Schlein-Bonelli-Fratoianni group would lead us. Between Beijing and Tehran. Let us think about it well.

Parlando di un appello all’unità “arrivato in ritardo”, Schlein ha chiesto a Meloni di essere più decisa sul Medio Oriente. “Lei ha detto che ‘non condanna né condivide’ e ci ha messo 12 giorni per dire che questi attacchi sono fuori dal diritto internazionale. Bene, ora dica che escludete, anche se ve lo chiedono, l’autorizzazione all’utilizzo delle basi militari in Italia per sostenere gli attacchi illegali all’Iran di Trump. Lei si è contraddetta. La Spagna ha escluso qualsiasi supporto, perché lei non lo fa? Il contesto può cambiare, ciò che non cambia è il diritto internazionale”, ha detto la segretaria dem invitando il governo ad avere il “coraggio di dire anche agli alleati irrinunciabili quando si sbagliano“.
Nel suo intervento la leader dem ha anche chiesto di voler “sapere come sosterrete l’economia dalle conseguenze di questa guerra. Oltre ai danni della guerra commerciale di Trump con i dazi si aggiungono infatti i costi delle sue azioni militari. Noi abbiamo fatto una proposta sulle accise mobili. Abbiamo apprezzato la sua apertura, ma non ha fatto niente. E le persone in fila per la benzina hanno già pagato oltre due euro al litro e il carrello della spesa è salito di più del 20%. Siete sempre in tempo – ha quindi concluso il ragionamento – ad approvare il salario minimo”

La scadenza per l'iscrizione al concorso era fissata per ieri alle 12:00. Secondo i dati pubblicati dal portale Euractiv, l'Italia è di gran lunga la nazione più rappresentata tra i partecipanti al concorso: dei 174.922 iscritti, ben 79.450 sono italiani, circa il 45%. Seguono, ampiamente distanziati, gli spagnoli (13.795), i tedeschi (11.705) e i francesi (10.939). Coloro che rientreranno tra i 1490 vincitori potranno candidarsi ad un posto di livello AD5, che equivale a un salario mensile tra i 6mila e i 7mila euro. L'ultimo concorso generalizzato di questo tipo per un posto nelle istituzioni europee risaliva al 2019, e allora i partecipanti furono circa 22mila.

AGI - More than 170,000 people have registered for the competition opened by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) for 1490 positions in the reserve list for employment with European institutions. This was communicated by the EPSO itself in a statement, which defines this figure as “well beyond any expectations” (50/60,000 participants were expected to take part).
The deadline for registration for the competition was set for yesterday at 12:00. According to data published by the Euractiv portal, Italy is by far the most represented nation among the competition participants: of the 174,922 registered, a total of 79,450 are Italian, approximately 45%. A circumstance that makes the journey for Italian participants even more difficult, given that, according to internal objectives of the European Commission for national balances within the institutions, Italians should make up approximately 11.2% of employees at the Commission itself.
Data on Participants, Salaries, and Previous Competitions
Following closely are Spaniards (13,795), Germans (11,705) and French (10,939). Those who will be among the 1490 winners will be able to apply for a level AD5 position, which corresponds to a monthly salary between 6,000 and 7,000 euros. The last general competition of this type for a position in European institutions dates back to 2019, when participants were approximately 22,000.
