Strano, ma vero. Durante la Finale del Festival di Sanremo 2026, il 28 febbraio scorso, la piattaforma Pornhub ha registrato dei cali significativi e non a caso. Pornhub ha analizzato l’andamento del traffico in Italia che “è sceso fino al -20% rispetto a un sabato medio, con il calo più significativo registrato intorno all’1:00 di notte, mentre si esibivano gli ultimi artisti in gara”. E ancor -“al momento dell’annuncio ufficiale della classifica finale, intorno alle 2:00, il traffico era già tornato su livelli medi. Subito dopo la proclamazione del vincitore, però, si è registrato un rimbalzo netto, con un picco del +14% intorno alle 3:00 del mattino”, recita la comunicazione ufficiale.
E la Campania? “Il traffico è crollato fino al -28%, un dato ben più marcato rispetto alla media nazionale. Ancora più significativo il dato della città di Napoli, dove il calo ha toccato il -24% nel momento più intenso della serata, per poi registrare un rimbalzo record del +26% subito dopo la proclamazione del vincitore”. Insomma il tifo da casa è stato presente.
Tra gli altri dati significativi che sono emersi. La categoria “Music” che su Pornhub ha registrato un aumento progressivo delle visualizzazioni, con un picco del +20% nella giornata di apertura del Festival (24 febbraio) e un ulteriore balzo del +29% la sera della finale, rispetto al mese precedente. Anche il giorno successivo si navigava su +22%.

Pornhub analyzed traffic trends in Italy, which “dropped to -20% compared to an average Saturday, with the most significant drop recorded around 1:00 AM while the last competing artists performed.” And then – “at the official announcement of the final ranking, around 2:00 AM, traffic had already returned to average levels. Immediately after the announcement of the winner, however, a sharp rebound was recorded, with a peak of +14% around 3:00 AM,” according to the official communication.
And Campania? “Traffic collapsed to -28%, a figure significantly higher than the national average. Even more significant was the data for the city of Naples, where the drop reached -24% at the most intense moment of the evening, before recording a record rebound of +26% immediately after the announcement of the winner.” In short, home support was present.
Among other significant data that emerged: the “Music” category, which on Pornhub recorded a progressive increase in views, with a peak of +20% on the opening day of the Festival (February 24th) and another leap of +29% in the evening of the final, compared to the previous month. It also navigated +22% the day after.
