Per la coppia locale che li ha accolti a bordo, Italia significa “Roma, Juventus…”, e alla domanda di Chanel su cosa conoscessero di Roma nello specifico la risposta è solo una: “Totti!”. Laurino decide di “usare la carta dei raccomandati” e la coppia indonesiana impazzisce di gioia.
Al termine della prima puntata Costantino ha annunciato la prima classifica: vittoria per I Raccomandati, al secondo posto i Rapper e medaglia di bronzo ai Veloci. In fondo al gruppo e a rischio eliminazione, invece, Ex e Creator.
La scelta di Chanel e Filippo su chi eliminare è ricaduta su Steven e Viviana, che però sono andati incontro a uno scenario inedito per Pechino Express. Un tribunale di Los Angeles ha reso esecutivo lo sfratto della ex star celebre negli Anni Ottanta, deliberando a favore del suo padrone di casa Eric Goldie.
Rourke a TMZ aveva confermato che non aveva pagato il canone perché la casa sarebbe stata infestata dai topi. Morrissey ha deciso di annullare il concerto in programma a Valencia, il 12 marzo, lamentando che i festeggiamenti che si stanno tenendo nella città spagnola per Las Fallas (si svolge ogni anno dal primo al 19 marzo in onore di San Giuseppe, ndr) gli hanno impedito di riposare adeguatamente durante la notte. “La mancanza di riposo ha reso impossibile lo spettacolo previsto a Valencia”, si legge in una dichiarazione pubblicata questa mattina sul sito web dell’ex frontman degli Smiths.
Morrissey è arrivato a Valencia l’11 marzo, dopo un viaggio in auto di due giorni da Milano. Durante la notte è stato disturbato dai festeggiamenti che, secondo la dichiarazione, comprendevano “canti techno ad alto volume e annunci al megafono” che si sentivano dalla sua camera d’albergo. “Questa esperienza ha lasciato Morrissey in uno stato catatonico”, si afferma nella dichiarazione. Se avete visto il programma televisivo Airport Security, saprete che negli aeroporti possono capitare ritrovamenti incredibili, dalla droga agli oggetti più assurdi. Ma Zhang Kequn, cittadino cinese, ha portato il concetto di insolito a un livello tutto suo: all’aeroporto internazionale Jomo Kenyatta di Nairobi, è stato arrestato dopo essere stato fermato con oltre 2000 formiche “regine” nel bagaglio, destinate alla Cina. Un traffico tanto insolito quanto illegale.
L’uomo non ha ancora fornito spiegazioni ufficiali, ma gli investigatori ritengono che possa essere collegato a una rete di traffico di formiche smantellata lo scorso anno in Kenya. Le formiche, protette dai trattati internazionali sulla biodiversità, rientrano in una categoria di specie il cui commercio è severamente regolamentato, proprio per prevenire danni agli ecosistemi locali.
Negli ultimi anni, il Kenya Wildlife Service ha segnalato una crescente richiesta di formiche da giardino, scientificamente note come Messor cephalotes, soprattutto in Europa e Asia. Qui i collezionisti le allevano come animali domestici, e fanno di un insetto minuscolo in un bene ambito e redditizio. Questo boom ha alimentato un mercato nero pericoloso, spesso nascosto in valigie o spedizioni internazionali.

Non è il primo caso del genere nel Paese. Lo scorso maggio, un tribunale keniano ha condannato quattro uomini, due belgi, un vietnamita e un cittadino locale, a un anno di carcere per aver tentato di esportare migliaia di formiche regine. Un caso senza precedenti, che aveva già messo in luce quanto il contrabbando di insetti protetti possa assumere contorni paradossali ma gravi sul piano legale e ambientale.

Tra le storie d’amore più intense della vita di Enrica Bonaccorti, scomparsa oggi 12 marzo a 76 anni, c’è stata quella con Carlo di Borbone, che lei chiamava Charles. Un incontro che la conduttrice e autrice raccontava spesso come un vero colpo di fulmine. “Lo vidi entrare in un locale, dopo quattro passi ero già innamorata. Pensai: chi è quello lì? Lo voglio, è mio”. Fu lui a invitarla a ballare e da quella sera iniziò una relazione travolgente. Lei aveva 42 anni, lui 29. “In qualche modo ho anticipato i tempi”, avrebbe ricordato con ironia. Il problema non era tanto la differenza d’età o il fatto che lei avesse una figlia, quanto il suo essere divorziata e soprattutto la visibilità del suo lavoro: la famiglia di lui temeva che la relazione trascinasse “Sua Altezza” sui giornali.
“Un film dai colori pastello”
La storia, come raccontava la stessa Bonaccorti, era iniziata quasi “con il foglio di via in mano”: lui le disse subito che non avrebbe potuto sposarla. “Gli feci una risata in faccia: vabbè, che sarà mai“. Per amore di Charles arrivò persino a rallentare il lavoro in televisione. Dopo anni di dirette quotidiane sentiva il bisogno di fermarsi e, nonostante gli avvertimenti di Maurizio Costanzo (“sei pazza, poi rientrare è difficile”) decise comunque di staccare. Col tempo avrebbe riconosciuto quella scelta come un errore di superficialità, anche se quei tre anni li ricordava come un periodo sospeso, “un film dai colori pastello”.
La favola non ebbe un vero lieto fine, ma quel legame non scomparve mai del tutto dalla sua memoria. Per la prima volta dall’inizio degli attacchi contro l’Ira gli Stati Uniti richiamano Israele provando a porre delle restrizioni alle azioni dell’alleato. Gli Usa, secondo quanto riporta Axios, hanno infatti chiesto al governo guidato da Benjamin Netanyahu e all’esercito di fermare gli attacchi alle infrastrutture energetiche iraniane.
Il messaggio di Washington, scrive Axios citando tre fonti a conoscenza della questione, è stato recapitato a un alto livello politico e al capo di stato maggiore delle Idf, Eyal Zamir. Una richiesta argomentata con tre motivazioni. L’amministrazione guidata da Donald Trump, innanzitutto, pensa già al dopoguerra: l’obiettivo Usa è quello di cooperare con il settore petrolifero iraniano. In pratica applicare il modello Venezuela dove il petrolio, nell’era del dopo Nicolàs Maduro, è direttamente controllato dagli Stati Uniti.
Il secondo motivo è sia quello di evitare attacchi che possano danneggiare la popolazione iraniana e il timore di un incontrollato aumento dei prezzi del petrolio. Anche perché gli Stati Uniti temono – e questo è il terzo punto – che i raid contro gli impianti petroliferi iraniani possano innescare una potente rappresaglia dei Pasdaran contro le infrastrutture energetiche dei vicini Paesi del Golfo.
Proprio oggi (martedì 10 marzo), all’undicesimo giorno di guerra in Medio Oriente, il Qatar ha affermato che l’Iran continua gli attacchi contro le sue infrastrutture civili e ha messo in guardia sulle conseguenze economiche globali dei raid, anche di quelli di Usa e Israele: “Gli attacchi contro gli impianti energetici che hanno avuto luogo da entrambe le parti costituiscono un precedente pericoloso e avranno ripercussioni in tutto il mondo”, ha sottolineato il portavoce del ministero degli Affari esteri del Qatar, Majed al-Ansari.

Prima fa un annuncio rilevante sui social, tanto da provocare una corsa al ribasso del prezzo del petrolio. Poi però cancella il post perché quella notizia, in realtà, non è vera. Il protagonista di questa vicenda è il ministro dell’Energia degli Stati Uniti, Chris Wright. “La Marina Usa ha scortato con successo una petroliera attraverso lo Stretto di Hormuz per assicurare che il petrolio continui ad arrivare ai mercati globali”, ha annunciato in un post su X aggiungendo che “il presidente Trump sta mantenendo la stabilità dell’energia globale durante le operazioni militari contro l’Iran”.
Il fatto che gli Stati Uniti siano riusciti a sbloccare, anche se solo per una prima petroliera, lo stop imposto dall’Iran nello stretto strategico per i flussi di petrolio mondiali, non è una notizia irrilevante. Tanto che immediatamente il prezzo del petrolio ha subito un crollo arrivando a perdere il 15% nell’arco di pochi minuti: dopo aver sfondato quota 100 dollari, il greggio ha raggiunto gli 80 dollari al barile.
La reazione entusiasta dei mercati deve però fare i conti con la realtà. Pochi minuti dopo infatti lo stesso ministro Wright cancella il post. Semplicemente perché la notizia è falsa. A dichiararlo è la stessa portavoce della Casa Bianca: gli Stati Uniti “non hanno scortato una petroliera” nello Stretto di Hormuz, ha dichiarato Karoline Leavitt. Anche una fonte del Pentagono, interpellata dal New York Times, ha dovuto smentire il ministro. Pure i Guardiani della rivoluzione iraniani hanno replicato a Wright con toni poco concilianti: “Nessuna delle navi da guerra statunitensi durante la guerra ha osato avvicinarsi al Mar di Oman, al Golfo Persico e allo Stretto di Hormuz”, hanno fatto sapere i Pasdaran. Così l’accelerazione del calo del greggio si è arrestata: il prezzo del petrolio rimane ancora più alto del 15% rispetto all’inizio della guerra.

Even a Pentagon source, questioned by the New York Times, had to deny the minister. The Revolutionary Guard of Iran also responded to Wright with little conciliatory tones: “None of the U.S. warships during the war dared to approach the Sea of Oman, the Persian Gulf, and the Strait of Hormuz,” announced the Pasdaran. Thus, the acceleration of the drop in crude oil stopped: the price of oil remains still more than 15% higher than at the beginning of the war.

Un scossa di terremoto di magnitudo 5.9 è stata registrata il 10 marzo 2026 alle ore 00:03 al largo del Golfo di Napoli e Capri.
La scossa, come dichiarato da l’Ingv, l’Istituto nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia, è stata registrata a una profondità di 414 km, ben più in profondità rispetto alle comuni profondità dove si registrano solitamente i terremoti italiani, che avvengono prevalentemente nella crosta superiore.
I comuni più vicini all’epicentro sono Anacapri (distante 8 km) e Capri (10 km), ma proprio la notevole profondità ha reso impercettibile il sisma. Non si registrano danni.
L’ultimo sciame sismico nella zona si era registrato il 28 febbraio, con una scossa di terremoto di magnitudo 3.5 registrata vicino alla Solfatara a Pozzuoli. Nel corso dell’ultimo anno, la caldera flegrea — che interessa un’ampia area della provincia di Napoli — ha mostrato una dinamica complessa. Dopo lo sciame sismico del 15-19 febbraio 2025, la velocità di sollevamento del suolo aveva raggiunto valori medi prossimi ai 3 centimetri al mese. A partire dagli inizi di aprile il ritmo si era stabilizzato intorno ai 15 millimetri mensili, per poi aumentare nuovamente dal 10 ottobre 2025. Dalla metà di dicembre, infine, il dato è tornato a diminuire, attestandosi sugli attuali 1,5 centimetri al mese.

The quake, as announced by the Ingv, the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, was recorded at a depth of 414 km, much deeper than the usual depths where Italian earthquakes typically occur, which mainly take place in the upper crust.
The closest municipalities to the epicenter are Anacapri (8 km away) and Capri (10 km), but the considerable depth made the earthquake imperceptible. There are no reported damages.
