Il Tempo: Cantieri anche a Ostia, Anas: "Partiamo il 18 giugno con il Parco del Mare"
Il Giubileo si è concluso ormai da un pezzo ma nella Capitale i cantieri non si fermano. Anas, ad esempio, oltre a seguire il Ponte dei Congressi è stata scelta come soggetto attuatore per il progetto del «Parco del Mare», il piano di riqualificazione di 7,4 chilometri del lungomare di Ostia finanziato con oltre 53 milioni complessivi (tra risorse di Roma Capitale e quelle erogate dalla Regione Lazio). Quest'estate partiranno i primi lavori. Ad annunciarlo, con una punta d'orgoglio, è l'ingegnere Marco Moladori, responsabile della Struttura territoriale Lazio di Anas.
Anas si sposta al mare? «Credo che il senso del "metodo Giubileo" sia che le grandi opere sono di tutti. Su Ostia, ad esempio, il Parco del Mare è un progetto che unisce Comune, Regione e ministero delle Infrastrutture. Noi siamo pronti: vorremmo partire il 18 giugno con i lavori del primo lotto, per cui potremmo utilizzare un accordo quadro già in essere». Il 18 giugno? A stagione estiva iniziata? «Non vogliamo assolutamente essere un elemento di disturbo. Stiamo studiando il modo migliore per eseguire i lavori senza creare problemi a chi ha il sacrosanto diritto di godersi il mare e la spiaggia».
Da dove partirete? «Dal Canale dei Pescatori. Anche lì, restando in tema di ponti, ne verrà realizzato uno carrabile».
Il Ponte dei Congressi, invece, è un'opera attesa da vent'anni. Ora c'è stata l'aggiudicazione provvisoria della gara d'appalto al Consorzio Eteria. Un investimento complessivo da 300 milioni che promette di rivoluzionare il traffico del quadrante tra l'Eur e la Roma-Fiumicino. Anas riuscirà nell'impresa? «Per Anas parla piazza Pia: un'opera del genere conclusa in 14 mesi. Noi siamo determinati e lavoriamo molto bene con il Comune di Roma, l'ufficio del commissario straordinario al Giubileo 2025 (il sindaco Gualtieri, ndr) ci sostiene. Se tutto andrà bene con l'aggiudicazione definitiva, vogliamo realizzare il Ponte dei Congressi in cinque anni a partire dal 2027, quando aprirà il cantiere».
Quindi per il 2032, in tempo per il prossimo Giubileo... «In realtà l'Anno Santo 2033, quello del bimillenario della morte e resurrezione di Gesù Cristo, non è stato ancora indetto. La decisione spetta a qualcuno molto più in alto di noi...».

The Jubilee has concluded some time ago, but in the Capital, the construction sites do not stop. Anas, for example, in addition to following the Ponte dei Congressi, has been chosen as the implementing body for the «Parco del Mare» project, the plan to revitalize 7.4 kilometers of the Ostia waterfront financed with over 53 million (between resources from Rome City Hall and those provided by the Lazio Region). The first works will begin this summer. Engineer Marco Moladori, responsible for Anas’s Lazio Territorial Structure, announced this with a touch of pride.
Is Anas moving to the sea? “I believe the ‘Jubilee Method’ is that major works are for everyone. On Ostia, for example, the Parco del Mare is a project that unites the Municipality, the Region, and the Ministry of Infrastructure. We are ready: we would like to start on June 18th with the works of the first lot, for which we could use an existing framework agreement.” June 18th? In the middle of the summer season? “We absolutely don't want to be a disturbance. We are studying the best way to carry out the works without creating problems for those who have the sacred right to enjoy the sea and the beach.”
Where will you start? “From the Canale dei Pescatori. And there, while staying on the theme of bridges, one will be built – a road bridge.”
The Ponte dei Congressi, however, has been awaited for twenty years. Now, the provisional awarding of the tender to the Consorzio Eteria has been made. A total investment of 300 million that promises to revolutionize traffic in the area between the Eur and Roma-Fiumicino. Will Anas succeed in this undertaking? “For Anas, Piazza Pia speaks: an operation of this kind completed in 14 months. We are determined and work very well with the City of Rome, the office of the extraordinary commissioner for the 2025 Jubilee (Mayor Gualtieri, ed.) supports us. If everything goes well with the final award, we want to complete the Ponte dei Congressi in five years starting in 2027, when the worksite will open.”
So, for 2032, in time for the next Jubilee… “Actually, the Holy Year 2033, that of the second millennium anniversary of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, has not yet been proclaimed. The decision belongs to someone much higher than us…”

Il Tempo: La nebbia frega un turista austriaco: la macchina sfonda la catena e finisce in laguna
Un uomo di nazionalità austriaca e il suo cane sono rimasti intrappolati domenica mattina all'interno di un'automobile precipitata in laguna all'approdo del ferryboat di San Nicolò, al Lido di Venezia. I due si sono salvati per puro caso: il conducente è riuscito a slacciare la cintura di sicurezza, a portare in salvo l'animale e a raggiungere a nuoto la riva. L'auto è invece affondata ed è stata successivamente recuperata dai vigili del fuoco. L'episodio si è verificato poco prima delle sei del mattino, quando una fitta nebbia riduceva la visibilità quasi a zero. Secondo le prime ricostruzioni, il veicolo avrebbe svoltato bruscamente a destra all'approdo Actv, la società veneziana del trasporto pubblico, finendo sul galleggiante, sfondando la catena di protezione e precipitando in laguna. La scarsa visibilità potrebbe aver disorientato l'autista, inducendolo a imboccare la corsia sbagliata.
Il comandante di Actv, resosi conto di quanto stava accadendo, si è gettato in acqua senza esitazione per soccorrere l'uomo e il cane. Sul posto sono intervenuti due funzionari della centrale operativa navigazione Actv, il Suem 118, la capitaneria di porto, la polizia locale e le squadre dei vigili del fuoco del distaccamento del Lido e di Venezia, compresi i sommozzatori che si sono immersi per agganciare il mezzo al fine di sollevarlo con un'autogrù. Anche i sanitari del punto di primo soccorso dell'Usl 3 sull'isola hanno prestato assistenza. Il comandante e il conducente dell'auto sono stati trasportati al pronto soccorso. Le operazioni di recupero sono risultate particolarmente complesse a causa della nebbia, che ha ostacolato sia i soccorsi che la navigazione in laguna.
Tutti i collegamenti tra San Nicolò e Tronchetto sono rimasti sospesi fino alle dieci, con inevitabili disagi al traffico acqueo protrattisi per quattro ore dall'accaduto. Dalla corsa delle dieci il servizio della linea 17 del ferry ha ripreso regolarmente. Il Comune ha fatto sapere, attraverso una nota, che l'amministrazione e la direzione del gruppo Avm/Actv hanno espresso gratitudine a tutti gli enti intervenuti per il tempestivo supporto fornito nelle operazioni di soccorso.
The fog brushes against an Austrian tourist: the car crashes into the chain and ends up in the lagoon.
An Austrian man and his dog were trapped Sunday morning inside a car that plunged into the lagoon at the San Nicolò ferryboat dock, Lido di Venezia. The two managed to save themselves by pure chance: the driver was able to loosen his seatbelt, rescue the animal, and reach the shore by swimming. The car, however, sank and was subsequently recovered by firefighters. The incident occurred shortly before six in the morning, when dense fog reduced visibility to almost zero. According to initial reconstructions, the vehicle suddenly turned right at the Actv dock, ending up on the floating platform, smashing through the protective chain, and plunging into the lagoon. The poor visibility may have disoriented the driver, leading him to take the wrong lane.
The Actv commander, realizing what was happening, jumped into the water without hesitation to rescue the man and the dog. Two Actv navigation control center officials, Suem 118, the port authority, local police, and firefighters from the Lido and Venice detachment, including divers who dived to attach the vehicle in order to lift it with a crane, arrived on the scene. Healthcare professionals from the Usl 3 first aid point on the island also provided assistance. The commander and the car driver were transported to the emergency room. Recovery operations proved particularly complex due to the fog, which hindered both the rescue efforts and navigation in the lagoon.
All connections between San Nicolò and Tronchetto remained suspended until 10:00, causing inevitable traffic disruptions in the waterways that lasted for four hours after the incident. Starting at ten o'clock, the service of the line 17 ferry resumed regularly. The Municipality announced, through a note, that the administration and the management of the AVM/Actv group had expressed gratitude to all the entities that intervened for the timely support provided in the rescue operations.
