Continuano le ostilità in Medio Oriente. In contemporanea con l'ondata di missili iraniani su Israele sono state udite esplosioni a Teheran. Lo riferisce l'agenzia iraniana Mehr. Nel giorno in cui il regime degli Ayatollah ha deciso la nuova Guida Suprema, il presidente Donald Trump continua a non escludere l'invio di truppe di terra in Iran, che potrebbero essere inviate per requisire l'uranio arricchito usato per sviluppare bombe nucleari. "Tutto è sul tavolo, tutto", ha ripetuto il presidente ad Abc News.
La giornata si è aperta con l'annuncio del rappresentante della Guida Suprema nella provincia di Razavi Khorasan, l'Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Alam al-Huda che ha affermato che è stata nominata la nuova Guida Suprema dell'Iran. Spetterà ora al capo del segretariato dell'Assemblea degli Esperti, l'ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri, annunciare pubblicamente il nome del successore di Ali Khamenei. Si era parlato del figlio Mojtaba Khamenei, ma la possibilità che sia gravemente ferito o morto cambia tutto.
