Tomorrow's Agenda: Go vote early in town (Greens of course), visit the ducks and Hera (the white-faced heron) if it's around, to give them a feed, take some photos if there's any nice blooms around, relax a bit, then go pick up some ordered PC/Media cables, then bunnings for another chain and padlock to put on the metal pet drinking bowl attached to the drinking fountain in the reserve by my house as some idiot keeps ripping it off and tossing it down the reserve.. that'll be enough to tucker me out.. 👍

Jovanotti is stronger than war and is able to hold concerts in Australia: images of The Ark of Loré – VIDEO

Jovanotti had in recent days expressed his concern about the winds of war, but also because his musicians had been left with their suitcases in hand and their instruments under their arms due to the airport blockades in the Middle East: “I’ve been running around airports,” he had declared. Then things cleared up and the artist was able to complete his concerts in Brisbane and his performance at the WOMAD Festival in Adelaide. “The WOMAD Festival was born to do what music has always done: to overcome boundaries, like the wind, light, the ocean and love. – Jovanotti recounts – With my magical Saturnino, B-Dog and Adriano Viterbini, we put on a wild set, based mainly on our most rhythmic and energetic songs, improvising a lot. It’s truly the case of saying that we hopped around like kangaroos.”

Windsor Gardens has a lot to learn about customer service..

This morning, american accent girl "serving" couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge existence:

Me: "Hello"

Her: "Flybuys?" [Turns back to her coworker and continues chatting with him]

Me: "No, Hello..."

Her: "Cash or Card?" [Turns back to her coworker and continues chatting with him]

Me: "Card"

Her: [Shoves card reader towards me while continuing chatting with her coworker]

Her: [Hands receipt to me while continuing chatting with her coworker]

I don't care if your worker has the "major hots" for the guy working next to her, when you're serving a customer acknowledge and serve them.
