Looking at a rather nice picture of a park bench in Tanunda, South Australia, posted by @kevpeirce led me to read more about the town.

I was taken aback to read that it had been the hub of an organization the existence of which I had been hitherto unaware, the Australian branch of the Nazi party.

Indigenous knowledge guides the conservation of the northern quoll in Australia.

The Importance of Indigenous Knowledge in the Conservation of the Northern Quoll

A new study conducted in northern Australia highlights the importance of Indigenous cultural and ecological knowledge (ICEK) in the conservation strategies for the northern quoll (Dasyurus hallucatus), an endangered carnivorous marsupial. This research, published in the journal *Wildlife Research*, was guided by the Martu people, whose lands are located in the state of Western Australia. The work has shown how cultural knowledge has provided a historical foundation for the northern quoll in areas previously unrecorded by Western science.

Integrating cultural knowledge with contemporary conservation strategies, the study demonstrates that culturally and ecologically informed approaches can be developed to preserve northern quoll populations in the Martu lands, contributing to the resilience of both the species and the landscapes they inhabit.

The article “Indigenous Knowledge Guides Northern Quoll Conservation in Australia” appears to be the first on Sicilianews24.it.

Jovanotti is stronger than war and is able to hold concerts in Australia: images of The Ark of Loré – VIDEO

Jovanotti had in recent days expressed his concern about the winds of war, but also because his musicians had been left with their suitcases in hand and their instruments under their arms due to the airport blockades in the Middle East: “I’ve been running around airports,” he had declared. Then things cleared up and the artist was able to complete his concerts in Brisbane and his performance at the WOMAD Festival in Adelaide. “The WOMAD Festival was born to do what music has always done: to overcome boundaries, like the wind, light, the ocean and love. – Jovanotti recounts – With my magical Saturnino, B-Dog and Adriano Viterbini, we put on a wild set, based mainly on our most rhythmic and energetic songs, improvising a lot. It’s truly the case of saying that we hopped around like kangaroos.”

Windsor Gardens has a lot to learn about customer service..

This morning, american accent girl "serving" couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge existence:

Me: "Hello"

Her: "Flybuys?" [Turns back to her coworker and continues chatting with him]

Me: "No, Hello..."

Her: "Cash or Card?" [Turns back to her coworker and continues chatting with him]

Me: "Card"

Her: [Shoves card reader towards me while continuing chatting with her coworker]

Her: [Hands receipt to me while continuing chatting with her coworker]

I don't care if your worker has the "major hots" for the guy working next to her, when you're serving a customer acknowledge and serve them.
