L'Agenzia Internazionale per l'Energia (Aie), di fronte allo shock storico più grave della storia recente, ha dovuto sbloccare 400 milioni di barili dalle riserve, confermando un punto cruciale: in questo mondo interconnesso, colpire le grandi vie di comunicazione e utilizzare i cosiddetti 'colli di bottiglia' (choke points) può portare al collasso dell'economia mondiale". Così Marco Minniti, presidente della Fondazione MedOr, intervenendo in videocollegamento a LetExpo 2026 - la manifestazione fieristica organizzata da Alis Service in collaborazione con Veronafiere - ha sottolineato come lo shock petrolifero causato dalla chiusura dello Stretto mette a rischio la tenuta delle economie occidentali. Il blocco, causato dalla strategia iraniana di "produrre il massimo caos possibile, colpendo Paesi come l'Arabia Saudita, gli Emirati Arabi e il Qatar, rappresenta un segnale chiaro: nel momento in cui si colpisce l'Iran, si avvia una fase di destabilizzazione mondiale", commenta Minniti.
Hormuz e lo shock energetico, dunque il problema degli approvvigionamenti e dello scambio di merci. In questo scenario, qual è il ruolo di due grandi colossi come Russia e Cina? Minniti osserva: "A loro è stata consegnata una grande opportunità. Con lo shock energetico la Russia, produttrice di petrolio e gas, ha messo in campo un'offerta all'Europa per riprendere i rapporti di collaborazione interrotti drammaticamente con l'invasione dell'Ucraina. E in questo contesto, la Russia assume un ruolo da protagonista. La Cina - aggiunge - vede una sfida cruciale: più c'è disordine nel mondo e più viene meno il diritto internazionale, più sarà facile per loro riprendersi Taiwan, che resta l'obiettivo strategico fondamentale", le sue parole.

New York, 12 mar. (askanews) - Il Consiglio di Sicurezza delle Nazioni Unite ha adottato una risoluzione che chiede la "cessazione immediata" degli attacchi iraniani contro gli Stati del Golfo e la Giordania.
La risoluzione condanna inoltre "qualsiasi azione o minaccia" da parte dell'Iran "volta a chiudere, ostacolare o interferire in qualsiasi modo con la navigazione internazionale nello Stretto di Hormuz".
Il testo sottoposto al voto del Consiglio di Sicurezza, su proposta del Bahrein, insieme agli altri membri del Consiglio di Cooperazione del Golfo, è stato approvato con tredici voti favorevoli e l'astensione di Russia e Cina, storici alleati dell'Iran che non hanno usato il loro diritto di veto.

New York, March 12 (askanews) – The United Nations Security Council has adopted a resolution calling for the “immediate cessation” of Iranian attacks against Gulf States and Jordan.
The resolution also condemns “any action or threat” by Iran “aimed at closing, hindering or interfering in any way with international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.”
The text submitted to a vote by the Security Council, proposed by Bahrain, along with the other members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, was approved with thirteen votes in favor and the abstentions of Russia and China, historic allies of Iran who did not use their veto power.
“This is a profoundly regrettable day for the Security Council and the international community – commented Amir Saeid Iravani, Iranian ambassador to the UN – Today’s action represents a blatant abuse of the Security Council’s mandate to pursue the political objectives of some members, the various states responsible for the brutal war of aggression against my country.”

La sospensione, riportano Bild e diversi media tedeschi, è stata decisa per motivi di sicurezza ed è durata circa mezz'ora seguendo una "procedura standard", ha detto un portavoce dello scalo berlinese. L'aeroporto sta ora valutando i passi successivi insieme alla polizia. Il portavoce ha dichiarato a t-online che non sono stati possibili decolli o atterraggi tra le 18:40 e le 19:15. Le operazioni sono poi riprese e non sono previste cancellazioni di voli. Tuttavia, sono possibili ritardi.
Un "oggetto volante luminoso" è stato avvistato sopra l'hangar della Bundeswehr poco prima delle 19:00, ha dichiarato un portavoce dell'aeroporto al Tagesspiegel. I negoziati tra Russia e Ucraina potrebbero riprendere la prossima settimana, ma le probabilità che si rilevino un fallimento sono già altissime. Tanto più nell’attuale, caotico, scenario geopolitico, con la crisi in Medio Oriente e la guerra in Iran che avvantaggia Mosca e che Vladimir Putin ha intenzione di utilizzare a suo favore. I negoziati trilaterali si dovrebbero tenere la prossima settimana dopo il fallimento dei precedenti due round. L’incontro potrebbe svolgersi in Svizzera o in Turchia, ha fatto sapere Zelensky. I negoziati partirebbero in salita, con l’attenzione degli Usa rivolta all’Iran: tanto che lo stesso Zelensky ha detto che bisognerà prima vedere cosa succede in Medio Oriente. A preoccupare Kiev è anche la telefonata tra Donald Trump e Putin, con l’intenzione del presidente Usa di rimuovere le sanzioni legate al petrolio russo su alcuni Paesi con la chiusura dello Stretto di Hormuz.
D’altronde che la guerra in Iran sia un favore alla Russia è ormai un punto fermo, secondo gli analisti. Anche perché Mosca può approfittare non solo della rimozione delle sanzioni ma anche degli aumenti delle quotazioni del petrolio, che permettono anche al Cremlino di vendere a prezzi più alti e quindi incassare più risorse da impiegare in guerra. In più, gli Usa potrebbero volere un accordo rapido mentre continua la guerra in Iran, anche a scapito delle garanzie per Kiev.

Noa shares on social media the moment in which, in the Franciscan church of San Salvatore al Monte, in Florence, she sings a traditional Shabbat song. “Welcoming the angels of peace, from my ‘exile’ in Florence. I pray that they protect my family and all innocent souls” she writes in the caption accompanying the post. The Israeli singer has been stranded in the Tuscan capital after the attack in Iran, and must wait before she can return home.

But what is Noa doing in Italy? The artist is working on preparing the Re-Imagine Peace festival, a review that in July will bring together Israeli and Palestinian artists, born with the aim of promoting coexistence and dialogue through music and art. However, at the moment she is stranded in the Bel Paese for what is happening in these weeks at an international level. Interviewed by Repubblica, Noa explains: “If everything goes well, I will return on Tuesday night with a flight from Rome to Tel Aviv. It’s dangerous, but I prefer to be with my family even if you have to hide in shelters day and night.” “I felt sick when I heard it,” she says about the attack in Iran, and “rebukes” the powerful figures who are stirring up peoples everywhere at this time: “It’s a political game bigger than the conflict between Israel and Iran. It’s a nightmare for us. I feel that we are in the hands of leaders who take our lives for granted. In Russia, Iran, China, in the United States. I’m very angry.”
